Welcome back to UDA Technologies’ exclusive weekly countdown to IBS 2024 in Las Vegas. This week marks five weeks until the event, and we hope you’re as excited as we are! Tune in to this week’s countdown to learn about the stunning Show House, the incredible show in Vegas that’s rated “R”, our tool for keeping up with all of your company projects in one place, and some of the more exciting plans on our end!
What’s in it for You:
What is the best way to compile different products for home-building in one place? A home, of course. Further, is there a better place to show off these products than at a trade show? Nope!
Last week, we highlighted one of the ways that you can see a comprehensive presentation of different home-building products at IBS 2024. Another way is through the show house! The New American Home is the official show house for IBS. While the show house is off the premises of the convention center, the event does offer convenient transportation to the home with shuttle buses– tickets are free, and first come, first serve. Sign up early in the day, and plan to spend a few hours there!
This home is fully-constructed, and located off-site. The New American Home is a sleek, modern, resort-style home that includes the latest products in home-building technology, from all of your favorite brands. Whether this be interior, exterior, or behind-the-wall products, this model home is a convenient display for state of the art, cutting-edge construction supplies and brands.
Sign up for a spot on a shuttle bus, and spend a little time checking out the gorgeous desert scenery, while also still getting the most out of your trade show experience!
Don’t forget your free tickets (a $225 value)!
Las Vegas Spotlight: Absinthe
Everyone knows that “Sin City” is the place to test your luck at casinos, but that can be quite risky. Another way to enjoy the city is to check out shows around the strip. One of the more edgy shows we’ve been to is Absinthe. Described as “unapologetically raunchy and undeniably hilarious”, Absinthe is known as the “#1 Greatest Show in Las Vegas History”. But be warned– the show can get pretty provocative, and if you’re easily offended, this show is not for you. But seeing that most contractors deal with subcontractors and clients frequently…
Located in Spiegelworld’s Custom Circus tent in front of Caesars Palace, Absinthe is much like a circus, but with human beings pushing the boundaries of good taste. Depending on where you book a seat, you may want to wear something that you don’t mind getting wet. Tickets start at $129, and of course drinks and snacks are available to purchase at the tent, too. Thankfully, the show has several show times during the week of IBS 2024, but buying tickets ahead of time is always recommended just in case they sell out.
Only in ConstructionOnline!
While ConstructionOnline is project management software by definition, it has so much more to offer than just that. ConstructionOnline is also software that will empower growth in your business in general, outside of the project level. One major feature that accomplishes this is TrueVision Business Intelligence, exclusive to UDA ConstructionOnline only! With TrueVision, you get access to in-depth analyses of your business and how it’s going as a whole.
Within the TrueVision Business Intelligence feature, there are four different major categories: the Project Scorecard, ResourceTrak, MultiProject Scheduling, and Company Reporting. With MultiProject Scheduling, you can get a comprehensive timeline of the status of all of your projects in one place.
Improve productivity and profitability with MultiProject Scheduling. Know where every project stands with the company-wide schedule view, always know what’s coming up next with the milestone timeline, and identify schedule spillage with advanced baseline tracking!
TrueVision Business Intelligence is such a powerful, business-empowering feature available to the Business and Enterprise tiers of ConstructionOnline subscriptions. Stop by our booth at IBS for a live demonstration of TrueVision Business Intelligence!
Behind The Scenes: The Fun Part
While preparing for IBS, there are plenty of things that are stressful, or maybe the less glamorous parts of planning for a large company-wide business trip, like ordering the furniture for our booth, keeping up with graphics deadlines, and making sure that travel and housing arrangements are made for everyone. However, there are some plans that are more relaxed, and fun!
This week, we made reservations for dinners and entertainment. Like we mentioned in last week’s countdown, one of our favorite spots in Las Vegas is Chica, and if you recall from the first countdown, we had a blast at TopGolf! Both of which we have now made reservations for the week that we’ll be in town. Further, the members of our team who haven’t been to IBS before got to pick out their uniforms, and we got to choose our seats on our Delta flight. I chose a window seat, of course.
You don’t want to miss next week’s edition of the IBS countdown from UDA Technologies, where you’ll learn more about your attendee benefits, other exciting product highlights, more unique Vegas spots, and a peek into our preparations as a vendor. To learn more about our products, visit our website here, and get excited for the 4 week countdown to the largest trade show in North America!
